What’s the Best Size for a Campaign Yard Sign?
When it comes to campaign sizes, despite what other sign companies may tell you, one size does not fit all. Other companies may try and convince you that bigger is better, but the truth is, that’s not always true. You have to know your audience and your targeted locations.
In most cases, an 18x24 will work fine for slow vehicle traffic and for foot traffic, but if you’re planning to place campaign signs on highways or other high speed traffic areas, an 18x24 sign is just too small. For high speed locations you really need at least an 18x24 or even a 24x36 for maximum retention. By choosing an appropriate sign for the location, your campaign will come across as one that not only has appropriate resources but is also mindful of the voters and their neighborhoods.
If your campaign has limited resources and can only afford to choose one sign size, however, a good compromise would be a 16x24 sign. This will provide ample viewing at somewhat higher speed areas, and yet will still be small enough for foot traffic.
