As an active candidate, you have a very small window to grab someone’s attention and convince them to look more into you and your campaign. Unfortunately, you can only do so much when it comes to the location and the timing of the placement of your yard signs.

The truth is you’re not going to be the only one to place your signs at the busiest thoroughfares and intersections. If you want to have any chance against your opponents, then your sign has to stand out. There are a few standard ways of going about doing this. Your color scheme and graphic elements need to be different from everyone else. Red, white, blue, yellow, and green are the most popular colors, and for good reason.

A quick search on color theory can tell you just why they are popular. In order to stand out, consider different shades of those popular colors, or something that no one else is doing; just don’t go overboard. Your graphic element is another area that can be a differentiating element on your yard sign. As with the colors, the key here is to do something different, without going overboard.

Unfortunately, while these are good things to consider, they are very standard, meaning, that everyone is already thinking of it and trying to do the same thing. So, one way to ensure that you stand out from the crowd is to use cut-to-shape signs. These signs are made of the same material as the regular yard signs, so they are still lightweight and durable. As you well, know, in politics, name recognition is of utmost importance. Make sure you become a household name in your district with signs that are sure to stand out from the rest.
